The Ambiance® Live Edge Timber Non-combustible Mantel show an extraordinary realistic wood look while being resistant to heat.  Available in approximately 5′ or 6′ sizes and three color options to complement your fireplace and décor. They are suitable for outdoor applications. Ideally, protected from the elements as part of an integrated fireplace/pergola combination.  Unprotected, the surface will accumulate white salt leaching that needs to be removed with a 50/50 solution of water and vinegar.  The surface would also need to have a protective sealer applied at least twice per year to protect against the freeze-thaw cycles in colder climates.  They are molded directly from antique timbers salvaged from historic barns, farms, homes, and cabins across the Kentucky Bluegrass region. Crafted with a patented non-combustible Burncrete casting to authentically replicate the rich wood grain and character details of antique wood.  The result is a unique non-combustible peace of art!
