Heartbeat Hot Sauce Co.

All of our sauces are made with maximum flavour and balance in mind. Each sauce is bright, bold, healthy, and deliciously unique. We ferment our peppers using traditional methods before we cook them with a few simple, high quality ingredients. We add no water, thickening agents or chemical preservatives of any kind making our sauce as natural as it gets. All of our recipes are proudly developed, cooked, bottled, packaged, and distributed from our dedicated facility in the South Core of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. Our goal is to get Heartbeat Hot Sauce in to as many hands as possible, while maintaining our small batch process

DILL PICKLE SERRANO:

Your new favourite condiment! Our Dill Pickle Serrano sauce recreates the perfect, sour, garlicky dill pickle with a little extra spice! With mild to medium, crowd pleasing heat, this is a great sauce for your family barbecue. Try it on some classics like Burgers, Hot Dogs, Caesars, Pasta Salad and your Tuna Salad Sandwich...and then let your imagination run wild!

PINEAPPLE HABANERO:

Our most recent collaboration with an Ontario craft brewery, this time from our home town of Thunder Bay. Made with the help of Sleeping Giant Brewery’s award winning Beaver Duck session IPA, this sauce has a boldly pronounced fruitiness and a bright but savoury vibe from start to finish. Expect a very approachable balance of heat and flavour, a Heartbeat signature characteristic!

DUSTIN POIRIER'S LOUSIANA STYLE:


Dustin Poirier is bringing the heat! We've partnered with Louisiana legend and UFC fan favourite Dustin Poirier to bring you Poirier's Louisiana Style, a hot sauce ode to his Lafayette, Louisiana roots. Like any good cajun sauce, the recipe starts with the best cayenne peppers, fermented to round out the sting and up the flavour before finishing with vinegar, sea salt, celery and garlic. Add in a handful of red habaneros for an extra punch of heat, and you have a knock out sauce that can take on everything from heavyweight meals like biscuits and gravy to featherweight dishes like grilled chicken breast or cauliflower pizza. 

DARK SIDE OF THE GRILL - SHIITAKE SZECHUAN:

Instead of your typical BBQ flavours such as smoky and sticky sweet, we chose a more dynamic approach that will elevate your grilled or smoked meats and veggies in a whole new way. Hot Pot inspired Szechuan pepper and shiitake mushrooms boldly compliment the familiar flavours of fermented habanero and cayenne for a deeply savoury profile that is sure to both surprise and satisfy.
