Here's a simple and safe solution to widen your floor protection that will suit your wood/pellet inserts or fireplaces. This 46 3/4"W x 18"L panel is insulated with Micore® 300 (1/2" (13 mm)) with an R factor of 1.03. The R value of the floor protection must be equal or greater than that required by the manufacturer of the device.
